Deberah Kula knows that government should always be for the people.

"Many of our elected officials seem to have forgotten that our government should be, in the words of the great Abraham Lincoln, 'of the people, by the people and for the people.'
Rather than concentrating on how they can increase their salaries, pensions and expense accounts, our state representatives need to recognize that they were voted into office to serve.
If elected, I will always remember that my ultimate responsibility is working for the people."

If elected, I will be the first woman from Fayette County to hold a seat in the state house. With this honor comes the immense responsibility of making a firm commitment for change. It will not be government as usual if I occupy the seat. Listening will take priority over talking and action will prevail over promises.
Working for the people, I will enhance the quality of life for our children, our families and our senior citizens while striving to deliver a more honest and reliable government.

Deberah Kula has served the citizens of Fayette County by working in the judicial system for more than 31 years. With such a strong record of service, most recently as District Judge for 14 years, she has demonstrated her deep commitment to serving people of our area. Certainly Deberah Kula offers the strong leadership qualities we need to provide a more equitable solution for taxes, to develop an environment favorable to economic development and jobs, and to improve the overall quality of our communities.
